The astilbe made its way into almost everything, from the bouquets to the centerpieces and the huppah. It was a rich, dark red as pictured and had a lovely feathery texture. It held up well, with no sign of wilting. I didn't know what astilbe was before the wedding, and now I want to plant it in my garden - it's so lovely.
