Cold in April

I am an avid gardener as evidenced by the middle two photos submitted. When my son and future daughter-in-law set a late April wedding date, the plan was to use flowers from my garden.
Fast forward to one of the coldest Aprils on record in Kansas, coupled with late freezes and little to no moisture for 5 months; we had to go to plan "B".
I found your website and ordered roses to compliment the bouquets of succulents and some greenery from the garden that escaped the frost. The results were the bouquets shown in the first 2 photos. I received nothing but "oohs and ahhs" from everyone who saw the bouquets.
The wedding went off without a hitch, except it was an outdoor wedding and it decided to rain all day (for the first time in 5 months!). We all stood out in the 43 degree weather, rain steadily coming down, umbrellas in hand!
