High Exotic Bright Yellow Rose

Opened up so beautifully!! High petal count and large heads. Looked amazing! This will be my go-to yellow rose for future orders!

When I started planning my wedding the only thing I knew for certain was that I wanted lots of beautiful flowers. After looking at my flower budget, I realized DIYing my wedding flowers was the only way I could afford as many flowers as I wanted. This ended up being the best decision I could have made. My wedding flowers weren't just a pretty decoration, they were a symbol of the love and support of all the women in my life. With so many arrangements to make I enlisted the help of my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law, my husband's grandmothers, sisters, aunts, and cousins. Everyone pitched in for about four hours and, with some planning and practice, the flowers were exactly what I was looking for! Don't underestimate the planning a practice that went on beforehand. I spent hours watching flower arranging tutorials, reading blogs, I carefully chose the flowers I ordered and planned out which flowers would be used in which arrangement. I practiced making bouquets and thought about how I would walk my bridesmaids through arranging their own bouquets. My mom and I also followed a tutorial to design and create a practice version of the large ceremony arrangements a month before the wedding. Since she had practice with that arrangement, she was in charge of working with my aunt and cousin to make the two large ceremony arrangements. I practiced making corsages and boutonnieres but the centerpieces and flower girl baskets came together with the leftover flowers. As we worked on all the arrangements we saved any petals or flower bits that fell off and used them for the flower girl petals, no need to buy preprocessed petals!

Planning my wedding flowers became a new found love rather than a chore. I can't wait to find another excuse to order a ton of flowers and make more arrangements!
