These do not look anything like a dahlia. The color is definitely purple not burgundy as picture depicts.

These are so, so pretty. They are a hidden gem on the site!! They were strong and healthy yet were smaller than I had expected, but I was glad because they made such handsome boutonnieres!!! The color was amazing!!

Excellent longevity. In person the color is more like an amethyst purple, but they photograph as a brighter purpleberry. Given the name I was hoping these could be substituted for dahlias; since the petals are so tiny and tightly packed, they don't give off much of a dahlia vibe but they are very nice in their own right, and much more forgiving.
