Creamy White Dahlia Style Cremon Flower

I knew I wanted gorgeous flowers for my wedding, I mean who doesn't? But I was also on a strict budget, $12,000 for the whole wedding. With my sister's help, we went through all of "make this look" pictures and found what I liked. I went with "A Romantic Montana Wedding" style with my own tweaks. FiftyFloweres called as soon as we placed the order as well as before they sent them. The instructions for care were very clear once they arrived. We had a big party to assemble all the arrangements. At the end of the day, I believe the total on flowers was about $600!! I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THIS EXPERIENCE!!!

When my (now) husband and I started planning our wedding, we both agreed that we didn't want to spend more than we needed to. Since we're both fairly crafty people, I was certain that flowers were something we could do ourselves. After all, with no bride to cater to, there was at least one fewer bouquet than your traditional wedding.

Pinterest (of course) helped us achieve the exact look we were wanting. Everything was simple, elegant, and well under a normal flower budget. We had lots of people ask us who did our flowers, and we were proud to say that we had done everything ourselves (with the help and guidance of my sister of course!).

Despite everyone telling me that doing our own flowers would be too stressful, I could not have asked for a better experience. Having the ability to keep things really simple while also exercising creativity and truly making our own wedding was a wonderful experience. If I had to do it over, I would absolutely choose to do it the same way.

Once Simon and I got engaged, it was hard to put into words how I wanted our wedding to be and what I wanted it to look like. I searched for months for my dress - and everything came quickly after that. Derek Stacy and I met right out of high school in our home town of Ukiah, California in Mendocino County. We started dating and fell in love and followed each other to different cities in California for school and work, we knew we couldn't be apart. We finally ended up in Sacramento with out little dog Bowie (David Bowie) and happy as can be, but Derek knew just being together wasn't enough. Derek asked for my hand in marriage in a little town by the Sea of Cortez in Mexico in 2016 surrounded by our family and I happily said yes. After a year of planning endlessly with our friends and family we finally tied the knot about an hour away from Sacramento right off of Highway 50 on the way to South Lake Tahoe in a little town called Kyburz at The Strawberry Lodge. We couldn't be happier to be each others forever. Nothing has changed because we've always been in love and best friends but everything has changed the moment we said "I Do".

This 25 ft seeded Eucolyptus Garland arrived 2 days before my daughters wedding as scheduled. It was beautiful & fresh from the start. We enjoyed it at my daughters wedding & made for a lovely addition to the head table. I will definitely use 50 flowers in the future.
