My Best Friend's Wedding!!!

My best friend was getting married!!! Of course, we did her flowers...it's what we do!! Not only was it doing flowers...we LOVE to do flowers but when it's your best friend's wedding...it just means that much more!!! The colors she chose were amazing and she looked absolutely beautiful!! We usually do the flowers, deliver and we're done...but it was so great to actually be there, be part of the wedding party and walk down with our handmade bouquets. Hearing compliments, because everyone knew we did the flowers, was really nice...we get the Ooooo's and the Awwww's from whoever we are delivering to but rarely get to see the bride's face when she walks into her reception...the look on her face was totally worth it!!

Elizabeth & Dee's Engagement Party

I was hosting an engagement party for my daughter and fiance with a rustic theme in July. I chose to do sunflower center pieces in a tin vessel.

The flowers were delivered on the Tuesday and Wednesday prior to the Saturday party which gave me enough time to fix them. The flowers were fresh and packed nicely. For an added touch I put battery operated LED lights throughout the center piece. I received an abundance of compliments on them. The servers at the restaurant wanted to know what florist I used. My daughter proudly told them "my mother made those". That made my night.
